Bug Fixes


Fixed a few bugs after recovering from crunching to hit the initial deadline. 

  • Fixed a few Audio System bugs preventing the pause screen from working 
  • Fixed issues with audio objects giving up on spawning for some reason
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the player from starting dialogue properly and softlocking them in conversation start
  • Miscellaneous UI scaling fixes for WebGL 
  • Fixed a few tiles that were on the wrong tile map and sorting incorrectly
  • Fixed the Bonk sound and heelys sound using the wrong scalars
  • Fixed an issue with a bunch of the barks using the wrong array length
    (my coding skills don't work so good at 4am and copy paste go brrrrr)
  • Fixed the shop hider not properly changing the sprite alpha
  • Fixed a scene load call that called a scene transition up to 10 times in a row 
    (Again, was to tired to understand how bad this transition was lol)

I probably missed one or two other minor fixes because I am still very tired, but I ran through our github again as best I could and am pretty sure this was everything. We debated doing one more balance pass for the items and power-ups, but decided that fell outside of bug fixing and didn't want to risk breaking the rules of the jam. 

For those interested we will probably come back to this after we recover, so maybe stay tuned for a fun microgame update after the awards are all done!
